NESTING RESIDENCY
A Year-Round Residency for grounded creative practice

Nectar's Nesting Residency is a flexible, year-round program designed for artists, writers, curators, researchers, designers, architects and cultural practitioners seeking uninterrupted time and space to develop their work.

Nestled in a rural property surrounded by Mediterranean landscapes, the residency offers a peaceful environment where creative practice can unfold at its own pace. Whether you are starting a new project, completing ongoing research, writing, experimenting, or simply looking for time to reflect, Nectar provides the ideal setting to disconnect from everyday routines and reconnect with your practice.

Unlike many residency programs, the Nesting Residency allows participants to choose the dates that best fit their schedule, making it an ideal option for independent professionals looking for flexibility throughout the year.

Why Nectar?
Nectar is more than a place to stay.
It is a space intentionally designed for focused creative practice, meaningful conversations and slower rhythms of living.
We believe that research, rest, experimentation and reflection are valuable forms of artistic practice. Residents are not expected to produce a final exhibition or public outcome. Surrounded by nature, yet connected to an international network of artists and cultural practitioners, the residency offers the time, infrastructure and support needed to deepen your work without the pressure of production or deadlines.
Whether you come to write, research, create or simply think, Nectar offers the conditions for ideas to grow.
