In 2026, and in its third edition, Nectar is thrilled to announce a total of four Family Artist Residency weeks! The retreat will take place in the province of Tarragona, in inspiring and magical locations surrounded by nature, offering families the perfect environment to create, connect, and share. The four weeks are organized in two consecutive pairs, giving families the possibility to join for one or two weeks in a row.

Nectar presents the third edition of its Artist Family Residency, a program designed to support artists who are also parents, providing a space where they can develop their practice without having to put their family life on hold.
We recognize that many artist residencies are not accessible to parents, as they often require extended time away and logistical challenges. As a result, many artists find themselves reducing or even pausing their creative work.
To address this, Nectar Artist Family Residency offers an environment where art and family life can coexist. The program provides accommodation, studio space, meals, and creative workshops for children (as well as for adults who wish to participate). While artists focus on their work, their children can explore creativity through activities led by educators and artists.
The residency aims to foster new ways of integrating artistic and family life, encouraging a balance between both. It welcomes artists with children aged 2 to 15 years old. Additionally, artists may bring their spouse or partner, whether they are an artist or not.
With this initiative, Nectar reaffirms its commitment to inclusive artistic creation, supporting families in an inspiring and enriching environment.

**CONDITIONS & PRICES**
Since the residency will run for two consecutive two-week periods, families interested in participating in two weeks will receive a 10% discount on the total price

> The Food supplies covers the three daily meals plus snacks/coffee/tea/juices/alcohol and non-alcohol drinks.
Self-cooked food. This is a community - based experience, so we all cook and clean.
> The final cost per all our participants is subsidized by a 30% partial grant
