WEEK #1

The second Artist in Residence Program of 2019 has started! Last week we welcomed the 3 resident artists: Jessica Moroni from Italy, Issa Téllez from Mexico and Patricia Sandonis from Spain. This first week has been a time for inspiration and production, in which the artists started developing their own projects surrounded by the tranquility and peace of nature and we had the visit of the collective Pli-é (Angelica Tognetti, Marina Ribot & Eva Paià). The young curators and On Mediation ex-students will curate the exhibition at espai2 from the gallery àngels barcelona. Artists and curators spoke about their ideas, thoughts and proposals towards the exhibition, followed by great meals and chats with the sunsets. More to come!

WEEK #2

This week has been very fulfilling! Artists have worked intensively on their projects and progressing towards the exhibition in espai2 from the gallery àngels barcelona. We spend a beautiful day in the lake enjoying the magic of the place and, had some visits and a one-day shooting at Pantà de Sau for Issa Téllez video-performance.
The opening of the exhibition will be on Thursday September 5th, within the context of Art Nou Primera Visió. Looking forward!

WEEK #3

This week has been very fulfilling! Artists have worked intensively on their projects and progressing towards the exhibition in espai2 from the gallery àngels barcelona. We spend a beautiful day in the lake enjoying the magic of the place and, had some visits and a one-day shooting at Pantà de Sau for Issa Téllez video-performance.
We also had a great OPEN STUDIO day with amazing guests and a nice lunch in the terrace.
Time to pack the artworks, which travelled from Nectar straight to espai 2 from ángels barcelona gallery, where the 3 artists and the 3 curators displayed the projects in exhibition space.
The opening of the show will be on Thursday September 5th, within the context of Art Nou Primera Visió. Looking forward!
